CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on approach that helps release tension deep within the body to relieve pain and dysfunction and improve whole-body health and performance. It was pioneered and developed by Osteopathic Physician John E. Upledger after years of clinical testing and research at Michigan State University, where he served as professor of biomechanics. Using a soft touch (generally no greater than 5 grams – about the weight of a nickel), practitioners release restrictions in soft tissues that surround the central nervous system. CST is increasingly used as a preventive health measure to help bolster disease resistance and improve pain and dysfunction. How does CranioSacral Therapy Work? The brain and spinal cord that make up the central nervous system have a significant influence over the body’s ability to function properly. And, the central nervous system is heavily influenced by the craniosacral system – the membranes and fluid that surround, protect, and nourish the brain and spinal cord. Every day your body endures stresses and strains for which it must work to compensate. Unfortunately, these changes can cause body tissues to tighten and distort the craniosacral system. These distortions can then cause tension to form, resulting in restrictions. This can create a barrier to the healthy performance of the central nervous system and the other systems with which it interacts. Fortunately, such restrictions may be detected and corrected using simple methods of touch. With a light touch, the CST practitioner uses hands to evaluate and use soft-touch techniques to release restrictions and enhance the body’s ability to self-correct. Craniosacral Therapy is able to support the body’s health in patients with a wide variety of dysfunctions:
Migraines and Headaches
Chronic Neck and Back Pain
Stress and Tension-Related Disorders
Motor-Coordination Impairments
Infant and Childhood Disorders
Lip, Tongue, Buccal ties
Laryngomalacia-type issues
Learning DisabilitiesADD/ADHD
Autism, Sensory issues
Brain and Spinal Cord Injuries
Chronic Fatigue, Fibromyalgia
TMJ Syndrome
Scoliosis
Central Nervous System Disorders
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
Orthopedic Problems
Infertility
Corrective Exercise
We teach specific exercises recommended for each patient to help strengthen and correct their own unique problem. These exercises can be performed in the comfort of home and can improve the effectiveness of your spinal correction. In addition to skeletal misalignment, muscles and connective tissues can be out of place or strained by improper alignment and use. Specific exercises and stretches can help your body stay in balance and in health.
Body Cupping helps loosen tight, tense muscles, improve circulation, and get areas of the body moving again when they feel stuck or inflamed. Many patients say it helps them feel less stiff, less sore, and more relaxed after treatment.
Cupping may help with:
Tight and tense muscles
Low back pain
Shoulder, knee, and hip pain
Tennis elbow
Coughing and chest congestion
Detox support
Stagnant energy and areas that feel “blocked” or not moving well
The gentle suction lifts the tissue, which can help:
increase blood flow
reduce muscle tension
improve mobility
support the body’s natural healing process
help move out congestion and stagnation
Cupping can also be added to dry needling and acupuncture treatments for even more support, especially when muscles are very tight or pain has been lingering.
Here’s a smoother promotional version if you want it for patients:
Cupping is a great add-on treatment for tight, tense muscles, pain, and stagnant areas in the body. It can help relieve low back pain, shoulder pain, knee pain, hip pain, tennis elbow, and even support coughing, detoxing, and stagnant energy. By increasing circulation and gently lifting the tissue, cupping helps the body release tension and heal more naturally. It can also be combined with dry needling and acupuncture for even better results.

The Activator Technique is a gentle, low-force chiropractic method that uses a small handheld instrument to deliver a quick, precise adjustment to the spine or joints. It is a wonderful option for people who want the benefits of chiropractic care but feel nervous about the twisting, popping, or cracking sounds that can come with traditional manual adjustments.
What makes the Activator so great is that it uses a light, controlled force to help restore motion in the body without the need for sudden movements. Many patients find it very comfortable, especially if they are tense, sensitive, in pain, older, or simply hesitant to try chiropractic for the first time.
Why patients love the Activator Technique:
Gentle and precise
No twisting or aggressive movements
No loud cracking sounds
Great for patients who are nervous about manual adjustments
Comfortable for sore, inflamed, or sensitive areas
Can be used on the spine and extremity joints
Helpful for patients of many ages, including those who prefer a lighter approach
The Activator is wonderful because it allows the chiropractor to target specific areas with accuracy while keeping the treatment very easy on the body. Patients often feel relieved knowing they can receive chiropractic care in a way that feels safe, calm, and approachable.
The Erchonia Variable Percussor is a gentle handheld tool we use to help relax tight muscles, release built-up tension, and improve how your body moves. It sends quick, light pulses into the tissue to loosen areas that feel stiff, sore, or restricted.
This can help:
reduce muscle tension and spasms
ease pain and discomfort
improve circulation and lymphatic flow
break up tight fascia and soft tissue restrictions
increase range of motion and flexibility
support gentle spinal and joint adjustments without heavy force
Patients often find it comfortable and soothing, especially when dealing with chronic pain, sports injuries, stiffness, or areas of deep muscle tension.
